Shoyu Chicken
Winnah winnah chicken dinnah

Ingredients
1/2 cup shoyu (preferably Kikkoman)
1/4 cup water
3 pieces ginger, sliced
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon Mirin
2 lbs chicken thighs
2 stalks green onions, chopped (separate the whites from the greens)


Instructions
  1. Add the shoyu, water, ginger, garlic, mirin, chicken, and whites of the green onion into a pot
  2. Bring to a boil
  3. Lower to medium heat and cook for at last 30 minutes or until thoroughly cooked
  4. Garnish with the rest of the green onions
